Christopher Owen Ayres (born May 16, 1965 in Richmond, Virginia) is an American Voice Actor, ADR Director, and Script Writer, who works for anime series at FUNimation Entertainment, ADV Films, Seraphim Digital, New Generation Pictures and OkraTron 5000. He has provided voices for a number of English language versions of Japanese anime films.
He is the older brother of Greg Ayres, another voice actor.
Ayres had originally auditioned for ADV Films, during production on Blue Seed, but it would be years later that he got his start on Gantz.[1] He is also known for his Mock Combat for Cosplay panels at anime conventions.[2] Occasionally his surname is listed as Ayers instead of Ayres.[1]
